Andrea R Roberson
President I have been a resident of Robbins for 65 years, leaving some years and coming back in 2013. I have been a commissioner for 8 years and 6 months. My commitment to Robbins is to continue to help build the community back to where it should be and continue to work with the Village, after school programming with Richard Flowers Homes (Housing Authority) and New Life Alive with summer program that’s been in place for 2 years. My accomplishments being a commissioner is the demolition of the grocery store building on Claire Blvd, demolition of 2 houses on Trumbull Ave, along with cleaning up the are on Trumbull where the trees and bushes had overgrown making it unsafe for the kids to be able to see walking down the street. We also remodeled our RPD building making it a place where you can come and enjoy programs, bingo, and special events, private and etc. My future commitment as commissioner will be to build our future community center and to work with our present administration to better our community. Vice President Meet Robbins native Justin Harris. Former eagle, and current coach and VP of the same organization, Justin continues to do work and sow seeds in the same community that he was born and raised in. Justin remains active in the historic Robbins Eagles organization, and has been fortunate enough to experience countless accolades and successful seasons throughout Eagles history up to present day including conference, state, and regional championship teams. Justin is apart of not only history but black history for District 218 as a whole.
